Thanx

1) I got my timing down by rushing through the bio section (hence the lower score) and leaving more time for me to work on Orgo and Chem. For bio I think that it's either you know it or u don't, u may be able to reason with a few but u need to be conscious of the time and spend no more than 30 min on the bio section. I think that the material for the bio was a little harder than TS, cause they can throw as many random questions at you as they want T_T, but i think that the chem was def easier than TS because most of the calculation questions where pretty basic, and the conceptual questions where simple, (ex. which is the strongest base? or what has the highest ionization energy?) Org was easier than TS too because the questions used very common solvents in the reactions (such as HCl, which adds an H+ and a Cl- markinov rule and can have a carbocation intermediate). I would have suggested using Chad's videos which is at
www.course saver.com (w/ out the space in btwn course and saver) Because they really helped me get the conceptual and calculation basics for orgo and chem. But if ur pressed for time i'm not sure how much they would help you. Although it may seem like i thought that the Dat was generally easy, i actually went into the test thinking that i was gonna bomb it. I def knew the material better for the Dat cause after my last TS i drilled the questions that I had trouble on until I understood or remembered.
All in all i think that me being nervous and extremely pumped up on test day caused me to work and think faster than normal, so i was able to fly through the science section with like 7min to spare at the end.
2) The PAT on the real DAT is a little different than the TS, cause unlike TS (whose question figures seem scaled down in size for some reason), the questions on the real DAT fill ur whole screen, all the questions are slightly different in ways that I kind of find hard to explain in writing, but I def would have suggested to get CDP cause it most closely resembles the actual DAT. Id say that btwn TS and the DAT, DAT was a little harder, so i dun know how i got a 29 lol
3)I was barely finishing my topscore tests, cause i would usually have to guess on a few q's at the end before running out of time. I think that the DAT RC was harder cause the questions were all over the place, meaning that questions in the beginning had answers at the end of the passage while questions at the end had answers at the beginning of the passage. Plus the passages were longer in the Dat, i had 18 paragraphs in one of the passages. But no need to sweat cause im sure if ur really focused on test day u'll naturally work faster (just don't let ur nerves get the best of you)
good luck!!!!
