Hey guys, my scores:
PA: 21 89.2%
QR: 20 95.1%
RC: 21 88.9%
Bio: 24 99.6%
GC: 25 98.9%
OC: 23 97.1%
TS: 24 99.7%
AA: 23 99.7%
Breakdown:
Books Used: Kaplan BB, Barrons, DAT destroyer, Schaum's Bio
I went through Kaplan BB TWICE, Barrons TWICE, DAT destroyer TWICE, Schaum's Bio ONCE (skimmed/read only what did not learn from other 3 books).
Started Studying May 10th, ended on June 22nd. Studied average of only 5ish hours a day, a little more the last week.
Tests Taken:
3 Topscore: same level difficulty as Real DAT
2 Kaplan BB tests: easier
3 Achiever: much harder
Bio: Really easy (I felt like I knew everything, but probably misread a question or two)
GC: Really easy (DAT destroyer helps a lot, as well as Kaplan)
OC: Really easy (DAT destroyer and Kaplan again-once again, felt like I knew everything but might have gone too fast)
I finished the entire section with like 20 minutes to go, and reviewed the marked ones with 10 minutes to go- probably could have scored a little higher if I went slower)
PA: Definitely not hard at all (I went kinda slow and ended up doing the pattern folding in like 7 minutes so I got a lot of those wrong I think-Achiever is harder, topscore about same-I dont know why ppl say the hole punching got hard-I thought it was not bad at all, much easier than Achiever- everything was much easier than achiever)
RC: not hard either-there weren't that many evaluation/inference questions and pretty straightforward-I probably could have done better but I didnt mark any questions (even if I didnt know it) and ended with like 4 minutes to go so I could have reviewed some and probably got a couple more right but I didn't
OR: HARDEST section (kinda)- Questions were EASY or HARD. no medium difficulty. I messed up because the first 5 out of 10 questions were the HARD ones and I wasted a lot of time and rushed through the rest of the EASY part. My advice is to skip ANY question that you may think will take you more than a minute and come back later. The hard ones for me were like 3 or 4 stats questions that dealt with conf. intervals and probability distribution.
SO yea...not that hard if you study and manage your time well.
