My school agreed to change a few F's that were on my transcript to W's because I abandoned the classes without attending and didn't withdraw on time.

I requested an official transcript copy from them and it shows the grades listed as W now instead of F.


There is no mention of the F's on the transcript, What effect do the W's have on AMCAS Gpa?

One must ask; how many W's do you have? (since they can negatively impact you app if you have too many or are on pre-reqs)

I have one W form a course in high school and one interview actually asked me about it.

Really?! I have a couple from college, and no one has cared or asked.

But seriously, W >>>>>>>> F. You should be ecstatic. And more on top of your **** after that debacle.
