I chose Boonshoft School of Medicine (BSOM) over a few other schools for a few reasons.
Most importantly, it was a great fit for me. I really liked the small class size, collaborative environment (you have TBLs and with such a small class size, everyone is bound to work together), and everyone in that environment. I guarantee that once you interview here, you will be impressed with how kind everyone is (med students, faculty, and everyone in the admissions office). Not all medical schools can guarantee you this treatment.
But there's more. The match-list, which can be found on the website, is proof that BSOM sends students to where they want to go. We have students attending some of the best residencies in many different specialties, all around the country. This is probably the result of the students' unique personalities, along with the school's innovative curriculum (TBLs, community outreach requirements, diversity of hospital experience, research opportunities, among probably many other things that current students can certainly comment on).
Basically, this school is really awesome! As you learn more about BSOM, I am sure you will feel the same way. Let me know if you have any other questions.
