Past month, ive been digging only ochem and gchem (and PAT, QR)

PAT im managing to keep 24+ after first 3 CDP

Ochem and Gchem.. i have been watching Chads, study notes, roadmap, destroyer blabblah
so i guess i will be okay if i keep this pace

but bio, i have not started studying yet.
i read something like just focus bio 2-3weeks prior to the test??
but may DAT is in may, i thought i should maybe start doing bio as well

well previous, i read Cliffs about twice(first skim through, second try to write notes but gave up)

how should i start doing bio ?
just read Cliffs, understand as much as i can and memorize Alan's notes and move along to destroyer?

and tips will be greatly appreciated
thanks!

How do you feel about your bio background? Strong? Mediocre? Poor? If strong, I suggest to just go through KBB and use Cliff's if you feel that you're really mediocre/weak in bio. Read and take notes or make flashcards on important concepts. Do a chapter or two a day while doing Gchem and Ochem so that you don't feel so overwhelmed by saving it up till after gchem and ochem.

Cliffs for bio is like an encyclopedia it lists a lot of facts, but has very few illustrations
Barrons for Bio is better IMO because of its organization and graphical representations for visual learners. I compiled around 1000 flash cards using Anki and did a lot of them every day. I pushed back my exam twice and on the second push I drilled Bio about one month before the exam. Bio is the fastest section to forget, if you study it during your first month you'll forget a lot of info by the time you take the exam in your third month (if thats you're study plan.) Use DATqvault.com for hard questions that will help you gauge where you need to be.

Alan's notes and the Destroyer were useless for my bio section. I would focus on memorizing as many facts and concepts as possible. At the end of the day its really what you remember about the small or big facts that will help you get a good score in Bio. Its different than GC or OC where you learn formulas and have to remember bigger concepts.
