Choosing MedSchools: Are you really using the LizzyM Score?

So some time ago LizzyM said this about the score: (I hope she will allow me to quote her)

I just want to add that my purpose in promoting the LizzyM score was to help people determine their chances of getting an interview, not admission. There are too many other factors that go into the admission decision to boil it down to a matter of stats...

Is it really the general rule of thumb to choose your general school list based on this score?

If so, how do you do determine your reaches, possibles and "back-up" (if there is such a thing) using the LizzyM score?
