The chapter titles are:
Introduction
The Residency Application Process
Start with Strategy
The Personal Statement
Curriculum Vitae
Letters of Recommendation
Conclusion

As you see, it's very strategy oriented and guides you through each part of the application.

Some structural aspects of the residency application process will be familiar to you from the med school application process-- you'll be writing personal statements, refining your CV, gathering references, etc. But since your career is at a new level, your application process will reflect that. For example, your personal statement will focus on why you've chosen your intended specialty (rather than why you want to go to med school). And you'll have a lot of very important decisions to make about the type of program you want to pursue (location, urban vs rural, etc etc etc).
