I have a sort of stupid question. I had this pretty simple question on an exam and it has been bothering me ever since.
True or False: Myelination increases the speed of an action potential.
Now, if the question stated, “Myelination increases the conduction speed of an action potential”, I...
Are the action potentials of a motor neuron different from the action potential of a fiber membrane?
Am I right in saying that the motor neuron resting potential is approx -90mV while that of the fiber membrane is approx -75mV?
Thanks in advance.
