    Question about cost of a biopsy

    I recently had an EGD done with biopsy. The GI doc sent the biopsy specimen to an outside lab owned by a private group of pathologists. I got the bill from the pathologist and it was for $2700. The insurance deducted/adjusted $500 of it and said I owe $2200. Was shocked when I received this...
