    MCAT Kaplan Practice Test #3 Psychology Question

    I have been reviewing my MCAT Kaplan exam and the explanation on this question makes no sense. I don't understand why D is the correct answer. Also could someone explain JND (just noticeable difference) and how to apply it in situations like this one? Thank you in advance!
