I had soooo much personal problems during basic science that my gpa suffered: 1.99 and my step score is average 218. Will it be difficult for me to get into a residency such as IM, psych, or physical med?

you could score a 200 and still get into psych with relative ease. 'charting outcomes' will answer every question a person has about their chances of landing their residency of choice.

If you get a 4.00 in your clinicals...no.

If you get a 2.00 in your clinicals...yes. (depending on whether you find alaska to be an enticing prospect)
