1 week to the exam... UWSA2 / NBME12?

Exam in a week. Should I bother doing either UWSA2 or NBME12? I feel like if I do badly I'll freak out all to hell and spiral into unending despair (... the dramatization is only half exaggerated..) But I noticed that a lot of people on these boards do practice exams very close to their exam date... and I can't help thinking that I need one more assessment of my score. The last two self assessments I did were UWSA1 (3 weeks out) and NBME7 (2 weeks out), and I did really well on both of them (they both predicted the exact same score, actually), but I have this nagging feeling that it was just a fluke and I got lucky with the questions they asked.

Thoughts? Should I do one? If so, which one (only have time for one)?

There's a possibility of exact questions or graphics from NBME 12 appearing on your STEP 1 exam, so I'd do that over the UWorld assessment.

I'd do NBME 12. Just take your time and try to do your best.

Yea I agree as well, you should do nbme12 with extended feedback.

I'd say no, don't take the test unless you feel like you need the confidence boost. Just take the time you would have spent doing the exam and review.

If you don't plan on changing your test date, there's really point at this stage in the game to do an assessment of yourself. I.e. if you don't do as well as you would have liked...what will change in a couple of days?

If you want the exam for the practice questions...I'm sure you can find bootlegged copies of the exams from other medical students at your school or from the internets.
