1 year masters program at Louisiana Tech

Has anybody else heard of the one year masters program for biology majors at Louisiana Tech?? Is it a good program to get into for somebody intereted in going to Med school, but needs to improve their credentials?? Please let me know what people hav heard about this prorgram
