  1. Pre-Medical
i will be graduating in the may of 2008 but do not plan to apply for med school until august of 2008. What are some suggestions as to what i can do to keep myself away from "going idle."

What did some of you guys do with time off?

thanks!

ps i plan to take the mcats in the summer of 2008

are you asking as a non-traditional or does this belong in the pre-allo? most non-trads are working year-round in addition to taking classes. in addition to working, try to get on some volunteer and medical experience, whether it be locally or taking a trip to another country. good luck,

from your question it seems you are not doing any job..well if you r free ..find some work..i mean related to health sciences..or any thing that will give you enough time to prepare for MCAT as well as keeps you update about happenings in the health sector...you may consider doing some volunteering in hospitals and community clinics or ..just sit back relax and focus on MCAT.

i'm going to china to work with an aids orphange NGO....they are indeed awesome.
but i speak chinese.
