There are some schools that require statistics. You should take it, as it will be a very valuable course in the future anyways. Psychology and Sociology are required for the new MCAT, so assuming you're an incoming first year, you will have to take them.

To cover all your bases, you should take calc 1 and statistics. I am fairly sure that calc 2 is no longer a strict requirement at any school (someone please correct me if I'm wrong) and can be replaced with statistics.

Keep in mind that you need the labs to go along with those classes (namely bio, chem, organic, and physics)

I don't think genetics is a requirement for any school, but it doesn't hurt to have it.

You will be taking the new MCAT, so you should take psych and soc.

Most schools have a social science and English course requirement. Two semesters worth of each should be enough, and these are generally covered under gen ed reqs. Also, to echo what others have said, stats is highly recommended whether required or not.

Physiology could help for the Bio section of the MCAT, other than that, English is a requirement for most schools. A year or 2 semesters worth of English is sufficient for most schools. I already took stats and I recommend others take it, because if a school requires it and you don't have it, then you're already out of the running for the school.
