I was just wondering how the OSU interview went two weeks ago? I was reading on my interview invite about the format of individual interviews and was wanting some feedback. Anything you could share would be greatly appreciated!!! THANKS =)

I interviewed on the 18th. OSU puts a good deal of effort into setting these interview dates up, which really says a lot about the school. Also, I got a personal email from one of my interviewers thanking me for coming out. There are huge amounts of dental students that volunteer, so there are plenty of people to chat with and get a feel about how happy the students are. In addition, the president of OSU showed up before lunch, and we all got to meet him. The interview felt like I was doing speed dating or the like. You basically play musical chairs around a table, spending 10 minutes with five interviewers (three faculty members, and two students). My only problem was that with so many people talking at once, it could be hard to hear your interviewer's questions. The facilities aren't anything special, but they are decent at the least.

I had a pretty good time. OSU would be a good school to go to.

Rumor is that over winter break they are going to update them. Instead of a computer telling you what is wrong there are professors designated for each row that tell you what you are doing wrong. I wouldn't get caught up in the facilities of the schools.

Thanks so much!! I really appreciate the information!!! Good luck to you =)
