~100 hours of shadowing a dentist

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
You just have to show them that you're committed to medicine; they won't hold anything against you because you checked out other professions to make sure. This is where your application essays come in handy.

Just make sure you are able to confidently answer the question "why medicine?" I trust you have plenty of MD/DO shadowing?

This is an interesting question. Will it hurt to include it? I'm not sure if I personally would.

So I put 100 hours of shadowing a dentist into the activities/works. How would adcoms think of it? What could they ask about it so far?
Giving evidence that you've checked out other health-related careers is fine. I suggest you list fewer hours of dental shadowing than you do for MD/DO shadowing, though. And be prepared for a "Compare and Contrast"-type question at interviews.
