Hey guys I have a question regarding financial aid in medical school: When u guys fill out FAFSA do u guys receive financial aid in forms of grants as well in addition to the loans? For example, most people in undergraduate schools receiving financial aid receive some kind of (federal/other) scholarships in addition to the loans. So, does it hold for medical school too or is it just they give u loans ONLY and no scholarship/Grant?...Can u please let me know? Thanks everyone in advance.

I realize this question is relevant for medical students and/or anyone who got accepted to medical school received a financial award letter. Anyone who could answer this question would be a great help.

There are no federal grants for medical school (there are federal scholarships in the form of work programs in that National Health Service Corps and the branches of the military). Medical schools may have their own institutional scholarships.
