Even international applicants from prestigious universities of English-speaking countries are required to retake all their prerequisites at a US or Canadian college. There are few exceptions to this general rule.I'm reading that taking pre-reqs or upper biology classes while studying abroad is a terrible idea because the credits will not be counted. Is this true?
@lionWushi: My guess would be that if it isn't an explicit requirement of the school, it won't matter. But some schools do require classes like "upper-level Bio", statistics, behavioral science, and Biochem, so take care about making assumptions.Edit: you won't know for sure until you make a list of schools you are interested in and find out each school's preference.
