I applied to about 25 schools and with the exception of one (NYMC I believe), I didn't have to do anything or pay any fees. They all knew that I had FAP assistance and didn't charge me anything upon submission of the secondaries.

Ohh so they already know? AMCAS notifies them for you huh? that makes it easier.. I was afraid the getting the fee waiver approved would slow the secondary process down...

That you applied using FAP is right on the AMCAS application. It never factored into any decisions from my adcom (most wouldn't know what the initials even meant) but it is obvious if someone is trying determine eligibility for a secondary fee waiver.

Thanks! Just wanted to make sure I probably don't have to send waiver requests before submitting my secondaries
