Hi,

This is really cliche, but I am Pre-Dent and will be taking the DAT in exactly 1 year. I have read all sorts of things. But it is 2014 and not all are updated. I would like feedback on what are THE BEST study materials that prepare greatly for the DAT and your experience if accepted, applied and waiting, or rejected by some of the schools. I have taken only a few of my chemistries and english at a CC, but now I am at a Tier 1 University and will be a junior in the spring. Also in the process of changing my major (not sure between neurobio, micro, or Nutrition) I know cases vary from student to student. But any ironic or uncommon feedback would be helpful majorly.

Thank you.

The Ultimate Breakdown Collection (link in my signature) is probably your best place to start.

It only has breakdowns from 2012-2014.

From a breakdown, you can click on a person's name and go to view their post history. From there, you can generally scrounge around and see where all they've applied and been accepted.

Thank you so much! yes If anyone can let me know about the best study techniques/schedule/breakdown I would appreciate it tons!!!

Followed an 8 week study guide I found on another thread. Used DAT Destroyer, AP Bio, KAplan bio, chads videos and used DAT Bootcamp practice tests the week before the test.

Non traditional student been a while since useful course and increased from 17/18 TS/AA to a 22/22.

Best techniques, schedules, and breakdowns? Well, typically those towards the top of the breakdown list are good ones to go by... since they clearly worked out really well for the people who wrote them! 😀

They're all good, of course. Take what you really like from each of the breakdowns and combine them into something that works for you. We all have different learning styles. 🙂 For example, I HATE practice tests and never took one, but other people swear by them. You just have to figure out what helps you learn, which takes a bit of time and self-awareness to do.
