Depends on stats but anything after october id say is getting late.....meaning try to be complete by october, this is considering verification times and what not....and have your secondaries ready

I think September is late. Some schools want secondaries by November.
 
Dependent on stats. If you have equivalent to 26 on the new MCAT and at least a 3.4 GPA, then you will be fine even in late September (mid-October might be late). However, if you have a < 25 on the new MCAT and < 3.2 GPA, then anything beyond early August is late.

I know two people who had ~3.4/3.5 GPA with a 27/28 respectively MCAT who applied in November and got in. I cant remember how many schools 1 of them applied to but they got in somewhere. The other applied to 6 DO and got into one before accepting their MD acceptance. This is not advised however but its not a death sentence.

I applied in Feb of this year. Got an interview in-state, but am on the waitlist as a result. I'd apply before December.
