You don't put future hours... as far as I remember. You only put down hours that you have completed and leave the "end date" blank.

That is correct, but you can mention future work in the "description/key responsibilities" field.

OP, why not just list the hours you have instead of lie? Are you low on service hours?

I highly doubt you can get an acceptance revoked because of that. I'm sure adcoms know that things change and would overlook it as long as you weren't being deceptive. Also, nobody is going to check up on your activities after you've already been accepted. If they had doubts about you, they would have weeded you out before that point.

Thats what my family and friends have been telling me, but I have pretty bad anxiety from getting jobs rescinded in the past due to miscommunication and bad luck.

I don't think you get much or any credit for what you plan on doing, you probably got accepted on the merits of what you have already accomplished. I also don't know how a school that has to worry about putting together a class of 100+ is going to verify or care about whether or not you really put in X more volunteer hours. It's not like there's a follow-up interview. Just do some things here and there to make yourself feel better and in case there's a surprise Volunteer Hours Gestapo that gets created at the last minute.

Did you say they were future hours? Or did you just include them in your overall total?

I think it is up to you. No one will check if you did them so technically you wouldn't have to. But you did say you were going to, so this sounds like a personal moral dilemma. No one here will be able to tell you what to do.

Do it if you get the peace of mind from it I guess.
