Normally that seems smart but CMU still hasn't had a match class... also CMU instate is 40 anyway, only 10 k cheaper than PSU, so 40 over 4 years + his 40k off


CMU 80k less, but you're at a new program (that will never be as strong as PSU anyway) ... IDK maybe it's cause I'm not paying back loans yet but PSU seems the smarter choice.

Fair enough. I said all other things considered equal, which they may not be. Knew CMU was new, but I didn't know it was that new. I'm from the desert way out west, where we don't have so many schools to keep track of haha
 
Also, I'm not sure CMU has much of any research opportunities--something to consider if you're interested in academic medicine. I am from Michigan.
