Referring to my ADEA Official Guide to Dental Schools book I can tell you that the average science GPA was 4.00 with a total GPA of 3.8. So you're doing very nicely in that category.

The DAT AA is: 21.5; PA 20; TS: 20.

These scores were based from 2014 mind you. But you seem to be slightly below the average but not by much.

From what I gathered from the US dental faculty interviews I have been able to attend the higher the GPA you have the more wiggle room you have for your DAT scores (I would assume this is true for Canada as well although I am not 100% certain how their admissions process runs obviously). Obviously somebody with a 4.3 GPA and a DAT AA of 17 is going to most likely lose against a 3.7 GPA and a 23 AA but your DAT scores are way above 17 so I would think you are in the running 😀.

Hope this helped.
