Professor B. Go for the easy A. I've learned too late that grades and numbers absolutely matter a great deal with dental admissions, and now I'm paying the price with 3 waitlists :hungover: You can learn all you need for the biology section by self-studying with the materials you listed above.

Professor B... all the way

Also I think you should have used the poll feature for this type of question

My bad, totally didn't think of that.

Thanks everyone for your insights!

I agree with everyone since you're asking about an intro bio class.

However - for future reference - I would advise against taking the easy A prof for ochem (especially 1st semester). I made that silly mistake. Yeah that class was easy, but I was screwed for the ochem II and DAT. It's probably fine for some people, but it hurt me. Just wanted to throw that out there for someone to avoid my same mistakes.

I agree. Take the easy professor for a class you know you will be able to teach yourself later in. For Orgo 1, you want a good foundation for Orgo 2, Biochem, and the DAT.

I recommend taking the easiest professors you possibly can. I ended up taking classes with some hard professors (not by choice), but I don't think they helped me do any better on the DAT
