Hello-

I had a quick question about prerequisites and when they have to be completed. I believe a year of biology labs is required. I am currently a sophomore and have finished one semester of lab, and just have one more semester to do. I was planning on taking it the semester before applying (spring semester of my junior year). However, after planning out some classes I've realized it fits better in my fall semester of senior year (during the application cycle). I know schools just require the prerequisites to be completed before matriculation, but will taking a prerequisite after applying change how adcoms look at my application at all?
No it shouldn't. Most hope that you complete by the summer before matriculation. I would def get the major science classes finished for your MCAT though. Some adcoms also may look at your upper level science classes to gauge your ability of competency with hard material.
