Hi!

Second time applying! I have a few Q... probably more to come later.

1. DAT scores

When I took the DAT last cycle, it asked me where to send the scores. I sent it to all schools. Does that apply only for the first cycle? Should I be sending the DAT scores to AADSAS/schools separately for the upcoming cycle?

2. College transcripts

The application opens in May and can be submitted in June. When should I request the college transcripts to be sent? I think it can take up to 4 weeks. I don't want it to arrive too late. I have not taken any other courses afterward - is it even necessary to send the transcripts again?

Thanks!

1) Did you retake the DAT? If not and you're sending the same scores from last year, then yes you have to separate send the DAT scores to all the AADSAS schools this cycle... sorry it's gonna cost ya.

2) Request college transcripts as soon as the application opens in May and you have registered for this year's portal. It can take 4-6 weeks for the grades to be verified so you definitely want to get a headstart on this. Yes, you must send transcripts again. AADSAS doesn't remember anything from the previous cycle.

1. How do we send the transcripts individually?

2. My transcripts from the last cycle already carried over into the 2018-2019 application. They all say "received." Would I need to send them in again?

I started a Master's Program in January, but I will be transferring to a post-bac program for the remainder of this year. When adding coursework from the Master's program would I indicate that my degree is still in progress because I do plan on completing it in the future?

Huh...

My AADSAS says that the transcript and DAT scores are received for this cycle from the past cycle.

Is there any re-applicant that can confirm that no further action is needed as far as the DAT scores go? Do I still need to send it to all schools again or one up in AADSAS is fine?

I'm pretty sure you don't have to send the scores to each school if you previously selected all schools. Also, the DAT scores carry over from last cycle according to the new rules, so I find it hard to believe you would have to pay each school individually.

I would just call and ask, then enlighten us lol.

Hello. I have a question as well. As an reapplicant, do you have to get new letters of recommendations? do you thinK?

Yes, you can log in to check if your previous letters are there, and they won't be, so you need to get new letters.

I guess what I meant is, my school keeps all of my letters, so I can reuse them if I want, but do you think I should ask for new recommendations since I'm applying again!

Some schools might have different requirements i.e. submit the same letter or have them revised.

If you accomplished anything new last year, I recommend asking the school to update their letter so it can be even more positive
