I am currently asking my professors for letter of recommendations. In turn, they are asking which schools I will be applying for. This is my first time applying, so I'm a bit confused. I will be applying to at least 25 schools and seeing that all letters will be sent to AMCAS, is there an option in that site that lets them personalize the letter to a specific school?
I don't believe there is an option on AMCAS to let them personalize the letter but it is YOU who decides which letter is sent to which school if you would like a certain recommender to write to a certain school.

Usually, all letter of rec writers will write something very generic so you can pick and choose easily but if there is a writer that is closely affiliate to a school and you REALLY WANT that writer to write only to that school then you can ask him/her to do that and when it is time to assign letters, you can just assign his or her letter to ONLY that school!
