I had to list myself for a couple of activities (The company I worked at full-time job during undergrad closed down, and my volunteer ambulance company disbanded, so I had no choice.) But for some college activities, I was able to comb the school’s website and come up with contact info for the current faculty advisor (campus EMS group) or department secretary (TA job). Even if they don’t know you personally, they can confirm that the organization exists, and possibly that you participated, depending on the records.
