Your semester GPA wouldn't be 3.3 if you had a C and 2 B's. Assuming 4 credits for both B's and 3 credits for C, it would be 2.73. Am I missing something?

To answer your question, I think it might hurt chances but there's nothing you can do about it now. I know it sucks but your GPA is still good so they might view it as a momentary hiccup?

Yeah, I got As in the other classes up to 18 credits. Sorry I should have clarified

That explains it. 18 credits is a heavier than normal load. Why were you taking 18 credits? Behind on credits to graduate?

I could see this having an effect if you're borderline. Won't be good for next cycle either. try to get a 4.0 next semester. If you're already accepted they usually just want you to get nothing less than a C.

I would update the schools that require fall semester grades and don't send updates to the rest. Considering that the rest of your classes were As and Bs, it's very unlikely a C would get you rescinded if you get accepted. It's unfortunate, but I don't think it's a major setback.

It's not a big deal. Don't update schools with your grades.
