Hello! This is a great question. Overall, a 126 is not a HUGE obstacle in the face of everything else. Your GPA is certainly slightly below average but the uptrend is a great touch. A 126 will most likely filter you out from some schools that are rumored to filter by section score, but your application will still be looked at by many schools. Overall, the increase from a 504 to a 517 is phenomenal and schools will see/appreciate that. Great work!

It definitely depends on your goals for medical school. Some osteopathic schools (and possibly few MD) will look at score below 125.

@Sean Studies @BBBallIsLife thanks for the input! Definitely aiming for MD schools. Would have stuck with the 504 if I were to go DO. It seems that top 5% even accept a single 126 amongst all other 130's+, so I'm feeling better about the skew.
