UMass is a great state school. Go there

Go for the least expensive option.

Actually one of my biggest regrets was not going to a top 10 undergrad just cause it was expensive. I feel like top undergrads offer opportunity benefits as well as name recongnition benefits when applying to med school. Especially when the university also has a med school.

You got zero financial aid to any of your colleges???

None of these are worth taking $100,000+ of undergrad debt.

He didn't say he was taking out loans?
Oh true, I'm too used to seeing people listing costs in the X v Y med school threads where it's assumed to be debt.

If parents don't care about the six figure price differences between UMass or the others, then choose based on where you want to spend 4 years. Forget the Drexel BS/MD unless you actually like Drexel, the only reason those programs exist is to entice high performing students by offering a sense of security they don't yet realize is unnecessary for them. If you make an A- average and a 511+ you'd be competitive for admissions to Drexel type schools anyways, they're really not offering you anything worthwhile.

I'd go with the state school. Undergrad really is what you make of it, and the big state schools have everything you'd need to succeed without asking you to pay an arm and a leg (and you/your parents can save money for med school!)
