Temporary Coordinator - Outreach Office

The coordinator will assist the office of diversity, education, and outreach with their program initiatives,
including the _____ all of which expose K-12 students to the work going on at ________.

The coordinator will support these programs with event logistics such as catering, room setup, supply
ordering, activity design, and program evaluation.

Requirements:
Ability to work as part of a team and capacity to exercise independent initiative

Strong organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work

Ability to handle multiple projects with excellent attention to detail and ability to meet
deadlines

Strong written and oral communication skills

Flexible and willing to perform other tasks as assigned

Will you have other employees (peers) working under your direction? Would you coordinate their efforts and take responsibility for the final results? That would qualify as the type of leadership you're looking for.

Or will you be performing all the tasks above by yourself at someone else's behest? Not leadership!
