Changing Character" was recommended to me and I've read and enjoyed most of it.
As I understand it, EDP is based off
Habib Davanloo's (an Iranian psychiatrist working out of Canada) work.
I typically use it as a part of dual pronged approach with more cognitive behavioral approaches. Stated simply, EDPs address affect while CBTs address cognition & behavior. Whichever resonates more with the client is where I typically begin, and then gradually introduce them to the "other side."
