I would take it as a sign that someone thought I shouldn’t be in that course.If you came across an email, that was not intended for you, but was about you, in which one of the senior administrators is telling a fellow professor not to enroll you in a specific course/elective by saying "dont promise her a spot". How would you all take it?
Leaving out at parts of a story you consider massively relevant is a crappy way to ask a question.Its a course that would potentially allow me to get financial aid, but I am one credit short and hence this is going on behind my back in what I believe is a way to deny me my aid. Yes there is a bit more to the story. But for obvious reasons I am going to limit it.
