Thank you for the quick reply! Do you think I should contact AACOMAS or email schools about this? In my personal statement, I basically say I started working at a hospital after receiving a certification in phlebotomy. I even uploaded my certification which shows a 2013 date. However, on my AACOMAS experiences, I put my hospital experience dates from 2011-2012. So it's a pretty bad error if they notice I feel like 🙁
I wouldn't sweat itI definitely did not overexaggerate hours. The concern is for the dates. I received my certification in 2013. I started my job at the hospital in the lab in 2012 and did not start phlebotomy as a part of that job until 2013 after I received the certificate. The dates should be 2012-2013, but I have them listed as 2011-2012.
I second this. I made what I thought would be a fatal mistake last year on my application: I left the description for the first experience listed on my application as "placeholder"... somehow managed to slip by both me and my proofreader! I still managed to get accepted! It seems adcoms can definitely be forgiving of mistakes here and there on the application.I wouldn't sweat it
If your application has been verified then schools already received it. Calling AACOMAS won't help. I also made date errors on my application last year and neither the school nor the interviewer brought it up. If they do then simply tell them its human error then explain your situationThank you for the quick reply! Do you think I should contact AACOMAS or email schools about this?
