Most medical schools require math as a prerequisite, which means you most likely have to take at least 1 math class in undergrad. If so, take the easier one, you probably won't get any 'bonus points' if you took some higher level math class.
 
This doesn't necessarily constitute a comprehensive answer to your question and as always n=1, but I didn't take a single math class in college either. I, like you, had AP credit and that fulfilled my degree requirements. How much my school cares about this sort of thing, I have no idea.
