  1. It looks bad if you are going to a 4-year university and withdraw from the prerequisites and then take them at a community college. If taking the classes above at a CC is what you have to do, it's what you have to do. Keep in mind that some medical schools don't accept community college credits for the prerequisites. This information can be found in the MSAR for any schools you are interested in attending.
  2. Yeah, you should be fine. Read Goro's guide to reinvention. sGPA matters more anyway, and the fact that you already have a 3.0 isn't a terrible starting point.
  3. The GPA will be combined and every class that you received a grade for will be counted, even if you retook the class. The classes from CC and university will be combined as your undergraduate GPA.
  4. Make sure you do actually get As and make the rest of your app shine. You can do a quick search and find people in the same shoes. I graduated with a 3.15 GPA and then did a 34 credit post-bacc, and I already have 2 DO interviews and 1 MD interview. Have lots of meaningful clinical experience and non-clinical volunteering. It is a long road, but it's definitely doable.
