Never heard of schools validating ECs like this.. I believe most just trust you to be honest and only check if there is some crazy red flag (like 1000s of hours on multiple things or something like that).

Chill. You are fine. Unless you flagrantly lie (like saying you volunteered at a place when you didn’t or put down 1000s of hours when you only did 20), you have nothing to worry about. Enjoy your acceptances and congrats. You’re going to become a doctor!

Schools do have the right to spot check your application. I also have a few worries about not being able to fully complete projected hours as well as having the struggle of coordinator switching. I would trust that if something doesn’t match up and it concerns the admissions office they would contact you for the whole story. Relax and breath. We only have a few more months before we become super neurotic again

Verifying EC's post acceptance

I was wondering how in depth is the process where schools verify EC's, letters, etc. after a student receives an acceptance? Asking because this is my first time hearing about schools doing due diligence. Also, I heard about students being kicked out in their fourth year or having degrees...
