Hi everyone,

Been a hospital volunteer for about almost 8 years now - did it in high school, in college whenever i got to come back home, and after graduating for about 200+ hours, for a total of almost 500 hours. ill be working full time in clinical research so i was thinking of dropping it but i didn't want to come off as too research heavy, so i was thinking about continuing clinical service - would it be ok if i switched this long-term activity for something new like hospice or palliative-care affiliated volunteering? or should i just still continue this long-term? i've had some exposure to palliative care via previous clinical research so it was something that was interesting to me. thank you!

Very much so. In some ways one could argue it is better to move on to something bigger and better. From a CV perspective, you've likely reached an asymptote in how much this experience will help you, unless of course you have picked up additional roles and responsibilities over time in the post.
