I'd reach out to the student affairs office of your school to see if they're capable of verifying that on your behalf since you were in a leadership position.

No worries, I'd list someone who was in a leadership position during that time then. Sounds appropriate if theres no other records (ie the organizations central office?).Sorry if my post was confusing -- I wasn't in a leadership position. Just a volunteer.

Yeah, if that's the best you can do and you have made a good faith effort and you are being honest you're okay. It is the outright lying that gets you in trouble.

Yeah. As far as I know: most schools don't do much on the verification angle. If they do verify it they'll call a few places and dig deeper if they find outright lies or what they think are outright lies. They know that things like this happen. What are they going to do, rescind an acceptance over what might be a lie but could easily be the God's honest truth?
