Yes. Get the letter.

1) Valid annoyance. A person is a person is a person, regardless of whether they’re in your hometown, New York, or on the moon.i would have had (professionally) strong words for them on that topic.
2) This is a non-issue.
3) This is viable on the end of your health professions center. It’s not below premeds to lie, and often there are people on medical faculty who speak the languages written on the application. Often, students who say they can speak those languages are paired with faculty who also speak them, and you’d be in very hot water if you were lying.

I had my interview with my committee in December, which consists only of our premed advisors. It was fine overall, but they were giving me a hard time about a few things (which they are notorious for). One was for volunteering in a NYC while living there with my cousin for a while -- they said it didn't make sense that I wouldn't stay and give back to my hometown instead. I said I can provide a contact to verify and they said it's not their job. One of them was asking why I use my hands to speak, so I put them down and she said "no, stay authentic." They asked me to say sentences in my native language to prove I can speak it since it was in my app, which probably annoyed me the most. At this point, I'm not sure if this is a letter I want to get, but if it will hurt more not to use it, I'll use it. It just seemed kinda weird and not relevant honestly
Classic stress interview. They were looking to see if you maintained grace under pressure.

My committee made a friend of mine cry during the interview.
They are a second year now. 😉
