I had my interview with my committee in December, which consists only of our premed advisors. It was fine overall, but they were giving me a hard time about a few things (which they are notorious for). One was for volunteering in a NYC while living there with my cousin for a while -- they said it didn't make sense that I wouldn't stay and give back to my hometown instead. I said I can provide a contact to verify and they said it's not their job. One of them was asking why I use my hands to speak, so I put them down and she said "no, stay authentic." They asked me to say sentences in my native language to prove I can speak it since it was in my app, which probably annoyed me the most. At this point, I'm not sure if this is a letter I want to get, but if it will hurt more not to use it, I'll use it. It just seemed kinda weird and not relevant honestly
