14 on QR??? -_-

So I took my exam today and my scores were as follows:

QR 14
RC 17
PAT 19
OC 23
GC 23
BIO 20

I left that place half happy and half heart broken ..

The place made me take two laminated sheets of theirs in with 3 pens that each did nott work after 5 minutes of using them .. Also, the dry erase markers didn't work so I needed to raise my hand and ask for new sheets and pens every few minutes on my QR as I write big and a lot when it comes to math .. really screwed up my concentration ..

OH CRAPPPPP that sucks. your sciences are GREAT!! but imo, youll have to retake. not just for the 14QR, but for the 17RC. unfortunatley youll have to risk the science section again.

whats your AA? some schools dont give a crap about QR but some has cutoff. If your GPA is good then I wouldn't risk taking it again because your sciences are very good.

Science Total was 21
and my Academic Average was 19

my GPA is (3.19 overall) and (3.33 science)

250 hrs Free dental clinic chairside volunteer
200 hrs Prothodontist Chairside
And like 55 Pre-Dent hours

I mean I'm way too competent in math and reading to have gotten such low score .. So upset .. could have at least gotten a 17 if it wasnt for the test center 😛

It can really go either way cant it? haha .. For this cycle I believe its too late to retake anyhow because I read that last DAT considered is if taken by Nov 1st. I'm considering calling all the schools I applied to and talking to them. I applied to 20 schools

Good job on those scores too man, Your GPA is really good compared to mine too. Do you have any chair-side experience? Did you get any interviews? A lot of rejections? Is that way your MA is in progress?

To be honest, if you choose your schools wisely, you'll be fine. Your GPA is NOT that low.

Do you have any insight as to which schools it might be a good idea for me to apply to? I have 2.5 Years at a community college(some dont accept CC) and I do not have anatomy either(I know like 2 schools need anatomy) on top of that deadlines to apply are by Nov 1st... Which another concern is I applied like october 3rd to aadsas and I am hoping that it gets to schools by Nov1st. ty 🙂

Depends on the school. Find out if the schools you are interested in are concerned about QR. one school I interviewed at told me they don't even consider QR (I had a 16) and a 17 RC as well.... I wouldn't retake just for that. Go with what you have this cycle, see what happens and if you don't get in anywhere... You know why, and then worry about the stress of a retake! Just my opinion!

Hehe, thanks..i applied before but SUPER late and got rejected..i took DAT 3x so i am NOT retaking..i am doing MA to increase GPA so this time i apply i will have better chances for interviews..I have LOTs of experience as dental assistant and dental hygienist! I will apply next cycle
