How do you let schools know?

I'm assuming that you just got another offer and have not been holding multiple acceptance past April 30th, as most schools 'say' they follow AMCAS recommendation to only have 1 acceptance. You can use the CYMS tool and select another school. The original school will see that when they run the report and you will either get called asking to drop other acceptances, or they can revoke your acceptance. You can then email admissions and tell them that you are withdrawing.

This^^^^. The schools will see it when they run the report. The right thing to do, though, is to send both schools e-mails, especially the one you are withdrawing from, to give them a heads-up before they see it in the report. After all, there is no guarantee that they run the report every day, and they will now unexpectedly have a seat to fill and someone will be getting a call off the WL. No reason not to help them make that happen sooner rather than later.

Simply change it and send a withdraw email to the school you no longer plan to attend. If you haven’t already accepted the seat you want, email to do so and pay the deposit if applicable.
