Flow chart for transcript entry:

1) Pick the category that closely matches the course title. If this doesn't work...

2) Pick the category that closely matches the course description.

If it is still wrong, then AACOMAS will correct them for you during verification (up to a certain amount). If it is an excessive amount, then you'll redo your transcript entry (which is a rare case).

In the worst case scenario, the schools you apply to will ask you to send them the course description directly.

I don't get why applicants freak out over the course categorizations.

Don’t think they care, as long as the general category is correct. For instance, don’t select “mathematics” or “geology” for a comparative lot class.

Do you or anyone know the amount? I just found out AACOMAS doesn't consider stats OR math as sGPA, which is odd.
