It’ll definitely be pushed back. I went on several interviews before October 21st last year, also it took a week or two after submission for me to really start receiving invites.

OK, this is kind of a relief since my sub-i in specialty I want to pursue isn't until September now and I also have a medicine sub-i scheduled for October. But I guess it does mean Nov/Dec/Jan is likely to be prime interview season (so prepare to be near a computer at all times?).

I don't see what other months it would be. Sure, why don't we add Feb into the mix as well?

I feel like they could add part of February into the mix but you would not have as much time to contemplate how you want to rank programs. Interview season would end and our ranks would prob be due soon after. Especially since it does not look like they are moving match day (fortunately)

Even in a normal cycle, I was offered an interview for early Feb this year. I declined it, but it's not unheard of.

We use late Jan and early Feb as make-up interview days incase enough people don't show or we have to cancel a date due to weather during normal seasons. Doing some virtual ones in early Feb would not be unreasonable.
