Don't fret over your research hours. You should be golden. Network with schools so that you know better what you want among medical schools, especially if they really want you.
 
Third place in a national competition for a sport is a unique EC; you could count the hours you spent training and competing for this sport since age 18. That should go in your work/activities section for sure! Aside from that, you've got good hours and great stats. Your list looks fine. Good luck.
