Let me preface this with that I am no expert and have not applied yet myself.

Your GPA is solid which is really good. I'd say that if you were to be able to bring your MCAT up (I don't know how feasible this is for you) to bring it up 10-15 points you'd have a really solid shot at getting into a good school and would have a whole lot more options. I've been looking at the MCAT averages for schools and they are for most schools in the 510-518 range. Not to say that there aren't definitely a number of schools that are below that, but 500 is just cutting it although what greatly helps you is your grades/gpa. I'd really suggest you take it over again. See if there is a specific section where you can pick up a lot of points easily.

Chem and physics section is murdering me where I got a 122. Any advice there?

Honestly not a clue, I haven't finished my prereqs yet. Maybe start a separate thread for advice on how to improve that section. Also make sure that you do a questions and really understand them, and when you get one wrong understand what you got wrong and how to redo it, redo it and then maybe a week or two later pull out that problem again and see if you get it right and if you understand it.
